It’s that time of year again! As thoughts and minds turn to the most presitgious poker tournament in the world, PKR have announced that they will be sending 12 players to Vegas to battle it out in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker.

A seat in the Main Event usually commands a buy in fee of $10,000. However PKR are running a number of satellite tournaments meaning that players could get to battle it out with some of poker’s biggest names for as little as 35 cents.

And success is not as crazy as it seems – perhaps the most famous WSOP story from recent years saw Chris Moneymaker qualify from a similar satellite costing $39 and he ended up walking away with $2.5m first prize and a unique WSOP gold bracelet.

PKR are offering players a number of different routes to Vegas.

Buy in will cost you $47.50,and there are at least 20 tickets to the Grand Final on the line worth $625 each – this one is going to be popular!
